Not much doing today. I am tired so for once might spare you the long essay!
The closing ceremony fireworks were great lastnight though. Tonight I am off to Pilates, not been in ages so looking forward to it. Then home to chill and an early night. Should sleep well from the Pilates.
Food:
B: cereal and rice milk
S: Ryvita, homous, sesame snaps
L: don’t know. No time to make soup yesterday so will pick up a salad.

Hi all
i gained 1lb this week ive been gaining and losing the same lb for ages now i really need to try to work out what im doing wrong i think to start off with i eat a rather large bowl of cereal in the morning which i dont need to eat (as im satisfied way before) and the exercise thing i need to work on so at the moment ive been doing lunges everytime i go up the stairs (missing a step walking up) which the other day proved to be a lot at mr kids house and he has 2 flights of stairs to get up and also im going to get my sit ups in as i really need to shift my stomach
this wasnt too bad on friday although i did drink i didnt take me a lot to get drunk as i was on the vodka (a lot of alchohol has wheat in so im being careful with that) and i had to sit there drooling while my mates had pizza although i did have a nice chicken breast with a creamy cheese and tomato sauce
saturday i was good up until the kebab in the evening and sunday my only sin was eating an icecream but considering all that i didnt gain weight at all

ive been up an hour now intending to get on with my work so as soon as this is posted im getting back to it as my drunken antics made sure i was pretty much out all weekend and then sunday was spending some time with my mum obviously

Hi weezy my mom seems to be having the same problems as you gaining and losing alternative weeks. Our team leader wanted her to show her a menu - we went through it and most days she was having bread and wine had crept back into the diet. Are you tracking what you eat? Maybe you can find a link as to why the weight is yo-yoing. :higgies:
I'm so tired today - you would have laughed if you had seen me this morning. I tried to parallel park my non power steering car this morning in a space big enough for a tank - still took me about 20 attempts though! :rolleyes: :lol: That was my work out for the day, my arms were shaking at the end of it! :lol:
I should be going out for a meal with my OH tomorrow night, we won't be seeing each other as often once i have my op, as he can't drive and will find it really hard to get to my house.
I was quite upset yesterday. I have got back in touch with a friend who i haven't really seen since junior school, all was going well until a friend of a friend of an enemy had been saying nasty things about me. The way my OH and I got together upset a few people as he was my friends ex boyfriend. I can't believe people are still (4 1/2 years ago!) going on about it! :eek: :mad: Luckily the friend from junior school was cool about it and said i didn't have to worry about her judging me :) I'm so glad we have got back in touch! :cool:

Hey all, hope you all had a lovely weekend.
Mine was nice. MrH's friends didn't end up coming down from Scotland so it was sad not to see them but I was also quite pleased in a way. Went home from work on Friday and had a sleep which cured the remainder of the migraine :yay: On Saturday I went swimming with a friend and her 2 year old - I say swimming although we spent a lot of time in the baby pool I got out and did some lengths on my own. It was good and although I didn't do much it did make me realise how much fitness I've lost and how I really want to get it back. I'm going to bring my swimming stuff tomorrow and hopefully go after work then I'm going to start going once a week with my friend when her boyfriend can look after her little girl. Should be good.
Weekend was pants food wise. Had pizza on Friday night (frozen thin base so not too bad) and then stayed in with some friends on Saturday night and ordered in curry - not so good. :rolleyes: Also had 3/4 bottle of wine. :cmcheers: Nice night though so worth it.
I sneakily got on the scales on Saturday morning and had gained a lb so really should be good this week so that I can get that one of again and start moving in the right direction. It's not the end of the world so I'm not stressing about it.
SB: So you going to start training to be a PT when you get back to the UK? Sounds like a great plan, I'm sure I've said that before.
Weezy: I know the feeling about being kind of stuck. TBH I think you look fantastic as you are.
Jusmee: You made me laugh about your parking! My car isn't power steered either, so heavy at parking speed aren't they! Sorry to hear what happened over the weekend. You and your OH were obviously meant to be together if you've lasted this long. :higgies:

weezy, I feel the same as you gaining and losing the same lb for ages now, I have decided to take some drastic measures cos it can't go on any more. So, I plan to increase my daily exercise and pay extra attention to my food intake. Good luck to you too, small changes can cause big results! :) And congrats for resisting the pizza! :great:
Jusmee, :lol: at your parking manoeuvres! I shouldn't laugh actually cos I can't drive, but the mental picture was really funny!! Don't worry about nasty comments from old "friends", you friend doesn't seem to care after such a long time, you and OH were obviously meant to be together. The best of uck for your op. :fingers:
Hamble, congrats for swimming, I really should get back to it, it's great exercise, so good for you! Don't worry about the lb, we'll shift it this week!
So, as you might have guessed. I gained 1lb, mainly cos of a barbecue I went to on Saturday. I'm not too disappointed cos I had it coming, I feel very motivated today to have a great result next week! :) I have today's menu all planned out, and it's very healthy. I will start counting points religiously again to get back on track. And, as I've been feeling a little low these days my mum promised me to buy me something nice to cheer me up! :yay:
My friend is having his "op" tomorrow, I'm keeping :fingers: that everything will go well. :)
