Question:
Slim for....Wk 14
Hello!
How so are you all after the weekend?
Meh! That’s what I say!
Ate crap on Friday, crap on Saturday and got drunk again, and ate crap yesterday. I made it to the gym once and did weights (Satruday) and that’s it! Although I did walk to work yesterday for about 1½ hours.
And when I say ‘crap’ I guess I was eating healthy foods (apart from the wedges with cheese, ham and sour cream on Fri…:o), just loads of them. And some chocolate…
Booze is evil though, I feel like I wasted the whole weekend. That’s 2 days I wont be getting back!
Anyways…
PS so glad to hear Mr N got in touch, he clearly wants things to be ok between you, maybe more? I wouldn’t like to second guess, but I am glad anyways. And I shant be posting what I ate either!
So I hope you are all well and had good weekends (better than mine I hope!).
Today I am back on the wagon… foodwise:
B: cereal and rice milk (nearly time for porridge I think!)
S: Apricots
L: don’t know, eating out.
S: ryvita and avocado
D: don’t know, maybe sweet pot salad.
Going to Pilates later and will do weights before hand.
One thing I am trying to learn is not to panic about this weekend. Yesterday I was really panicking. But really – it is not like I do this all the time, it was a bit of a one off and it shouldn’t have too much bearing in the over all picture. But it is hard not to – does anyone else panic like that?

i guys!
Hey SB - like the way the title has changed, but only kind of...we should think up a new name!
Well, I had an ok weekend. Friday I saw Mr Smiley and we had a nice night in. He wanted to get proper fish and chips, but we compromised and had low fat (I think Morrisons??) oven cooked fish in breadcrumbs (small piece for me) and potato wedges - so at least it wasn't all fat fried and terrible...then snuggles! ;)
Saturday I was busy all day doing stuff, then went to the gym for about an hour and a half - I felt so good after! I'm not going to go crazy again like last time (I would like my menstrual cycle to stay normal now after all the palava with it before!!!) but am going to a class tomorrow night, and then maybe for a quick session Thursday night. Will try to get down there again this Saturday in order for me to be eating an Easter Egg Sunday, although I'm not too sure if I'll get time due to having another filling Saturday morning....and I may not be in any state to workout after that. Oh well!
Anyways, after all the busy-ness I realised I hadn't really eaten all day, but then me and Mr Smiley went out for dinner (chicken steak and veggies, then shared a dessert of which Mr Smiley mostly devoured! ) Yesterday just chilled really, but then had a massive danish pastry that my mum had bought yesterday evening, and some chocs from Xmas (!!!) that my mum wanted to get "finished up" before Easter....it's hell trying to eat healthily at my house sometimes! Although, to be honest, my mum is usually better at me so it's not all bad.
SB - don't worry about what you ate this weekend. Like you said, its not like you do it all the time, and you are SO good with your exercise I'm sure it'll be fine.
Hi everyone else
Have a good Monday everyone - at least this is the start of only a SHORT week! :yay:

Hello everyone,
Very quiet today:confused:
I had quite a good weekend. I went out on Saturday night and stuck to vodka instead of having wine. I am going to do this all the time in future because 1. Wine has more calories. 2. Wine gets me more drunk and gives me a horendous hangover. 3. Wine makes me really really drunk and I turn wild! 4. I don't even like the taste of wine!
I was still quite drunk but not half as bad as I am when I drink wine. SO, I am off wine for good. Much better for me to stick to spirits. Danced most of the night as well so there's my exercise!;) Saw a cute guy and he kept catching my eye.;)
We ended up in the indian at the end of the night but I only had a bit of tikka chicken. I also saw Mr S who asked if we could go back to how we were......again. I politely declined:yay: I have no feelings for him at all now.
SB - Still not sure about Mr N but I was really pleased he contacted me. I will just have to see what happens when he gets home.
Smiley - What do you think would be a good name for our new threads? Sounds like you had a good weekend.

Hello girls!
Well, I had an ok weekend, rather relaxing but not so good diet-wise hence I maintained at my WI today. :( Anyway, I plan to be very good this week, I have to stay motivated!
I re-joined the pool today, am really pleased about that! I plan to go 3/4 times a week, hopefully I'll stick to it and it will make a difference!
I've got a question for you, does any of you want to lose weight? Sorry if it's a silly question, but it seems that only I mention weight losses/gains/maintains so I'm just curious. :)
Hope everyone is doing well! take care ladies!

Hey everyone,
Like a lot of you, I had a bad diet weekend but good in other respects. Ended up going out on Saturday night and me and my sister worked our way through a bottle of wine and 4 jugs of cocktails! Mr and MrH shared a thin crust pizza on the way home too. I'm not even going to go into what else I ate over the weekend - that's over with now so no point beating myself up over it.
Today has been ok food wise and I was out in the garden this evening doing some weeding which is surprising hard work when your garden gets to the weed infested state that ours has  Tomorrow I'm going swimming after work, my bagged is packed and by the door so no excuses. Unfortunately I can only see myself only fitting in one session this week as I'm visiting a friend on Wednesday night and out for dinner on Thursday night. I'm not sure if my local pool will be open on Friday but we're planning on having a day out in the garden and getting spring cleaning done in the house so I will be active all day I should think.
SB: So the weekend was a bit of a diet disaster? Did you enjoy yourself though, that's the main thing! Can't give up enjoying yourself for the sake of a few lbs.
Smiley: Glad to hear you're being sensible with the diet and exercise. Yay for the short week too :yay:
PS: Your weekend sounded fun. I love wine - I think the more you drink the more you like the taste
MM: Hey, maintaining is great, better to maintain that gain a bit. In answer to your question, I'm just trying to lose a couple more lbs having lost a lot already over the past 2 years. Mostly I'm happy to maintain but then other days I really want to crack on and lose a bit more.
 to everyone else. Speak to you later.
