Since I didn't get stretch marks for my first pregnancy, can I expect to avoid them during any other pregnancies?
Answer:my guess is that you have less chances, but it is not a guarantee at all.
Answer:I got about four little stretchmarks during my first pregnancy. I got about four more the next time, and this time I have yet to get any at 33 weeks. So, IME, yes, you can expect to avoid them!
Answer:IME, sort of. I didn't get any with my first. (Ok, one from the scar where I used to have my belly button pierced.) I did get some this time around. Vary few though, only 6 and the longest is only 1 inch. I didn't get them until the last month or so.

My second pregnancy....Ben was larger than Ellie was and I was huge. I did get a few small ones with him. Barely noticable. I would say it is possible to avoid them.
Answer:I add to my "collection" bit by bit with each pregnancy. But my mom never got any stretch marks at all until her 4th pregnancy (which happened to be a set of over-7lbs-apiece twins), so it could be that you won't get any.
Answer::jaw You SUCK!!! Ok I don't hate your guts (too much:) j/k) I have LOTS of stretch marks!!! It'd be nice to not have them!
My OB told me they were herititary...so maybe you're lucky (I'm jealous!)--consider yourself lucky--I don't wish them on anyone (ok--maybe I do wish them on my worst enemies--but none of you ladies are thems...:))
Answer:I got one stretch mark with my first PG. This time I've gotten probably 6-7 more and I am carrying smaller and gained less weight and everything. So I don't know. Guess it's just a wait and see game. Take care and hope you are as lucky this time around.
Answer:I only got strech marks on my upper thighs in my first pg. A few more with the second. I thought that I would at least keep my belly free of strech marks and then I got pg with ds2. He is 5 months old now and I have a handful of strech marks across my belly now. I do not think not getting them in a previous pg is any guarantee that you will not get them in subsequent pregnancies.
Answer:I've had 7 babies and have no stretch marks.
Answer:I've had 2 kids. No stretch marks with the first one, and some tiny little ones with the second one that faded away a few months later.
